The process, start to finish
Assessment. We walk the car with you, take paint depth readings and look at defects under inspection lighting, so there is agreement on what we are dealing with before money is discussed.
Wash and decontamination. Pre-rinse, foam, contact wash, chemical decontamination for iron and tar, then clay.
Preparation. Trim, badges and sensitive edges taped. The car set up under lighting that shows every defect instead of flattering the paint.
Machine correction. Test sections first to find the least aggressive combination that works, then panel by panel: cutting, refining, inspecting.
Panel wipe and protection. Every panel stripped of polishing oils so the coating bonds to bare corrected paint, then coating or sealant, then a controlled cure.
Final inspection. Glass, trim, wheels and shuts finished, then the car checked once more under lights before you see it.
Aftercare, which decides everything
A coating is only as good as the washing that follows it. Automatic brush washes will put swirls straight back into freshly corrected paint, and so will a dirty mitt and a single bucket.
Two buckets with grit guards or a proper touchless pre-wash. pH-neutral shampoo. Clean plush microfibre for drying. Deal with bird droppings and fuel spills promptly. Coatings resist etching, they do not make it impossible.

How dark can I go on tint?
That depends on the car and the look you are after. Rayno Phantom runs from a light film you would struggle to notice through to limousine dark, and the front and the rear are usually specified separately. Factory glass already carries some tint and it combines with the film, so we hold samples against your own glass so you can see the shade on the car before anything is cut.
