These terms apply to detailing, paint correction, coating, window tinting and dash cam installation work carried out by Custom Automotive Detailing (ABN 13 662 477 429, ACN 662 477 429) of 75 Sproule St, Lakemba NSW 2195.

Quotes and prices

Prices published on this website are a guide. Paintwork, interiors and glass vary between vehicles, so a firm price is given after we have seen the car. If work turns out to need more than the quote covered, we will tell you and get your agreement before continuing.

Bookings

Bookings are made by phone, email or through the enquiry form on this site. Correction and coating work occupies the workshop for one or more full days, so we ask that you give us reasonable notice if you need to change or cancel a booking. A deposit may be required for larger jobs, and will be discussed with you before it is taken.

Your vehicle

• Please remove personal belongings before your appointment. We take care of vehicles in our possession, but we are not responsible for items left inside.
• We record the condition of the vehicle when it arrives. Pre-existing damage, previous repairs, aftermarket paint and prior coatings all affect what can be achieved, and we will point these out.
• Please tell us about anything we should know before we start, including recent paintwork, wraps and any mechanical or electrical faults.

What the work can and cannot do

Paint correction removes defects by levelling a controlled amount of clear coat. How much can safely be removed depends on the paint, so not every defect can be removed from every car. We measure and advise rather than promise.

Coatings improve gloss, chemical resistance and how easily the car cleans up. They are not armour: they do not prevent stone chips, dents, vandalism or damage from impact, and they do not remove the need to wash the car properly.

Warranty and aftercare

Manufacturer-backed coating warranties are provided by the coating manufacturer on their terms, and generally require that the vehicle is maintained as they specify. We will explain the aftercare your coating needs and give you written guidance. Damage caused by automatic car washes, harsh chemicals or neglect is not covered.

If you believe something is wrong with our workmanship, contact us promptly so we can inspect the vehicle.

Payment

Payment is due on collection unless we have agreed otherwise. We accept all major cards and Afterpay.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees that services will be provided with due care and skill. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, our liability is limited to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales.
